2021 My LA2050 Grants Challenge Voting by the Numbers

Posted

We're excited to report that the 2021 My LA2050 Grants Challenge received more than 80,000 votes, cast by nearly 25,000 voters!

Voters in the grants challenge had the option to cast a vote for one proposal per goal category, for a total of five votes. Following the trend of previous years, voters continued to engage with multiple categories, casting an average of 3.2 of their allotted votes.

Our 2021 voters represented almost 95 percent of Los Angeles County zip codes. Some of the neighborhoods with the most voters represented include:

  • Westchester
  • Mar Vista
  • Inglewood / Ladera Heights
  • Echo Park / Silverlake
  • Arleta / Pacoima
  • View Park / Hyde Park
  • Mid-City
  • Los Feliz
  • Cypress Park / Glassell Park / Mt. Washington
  • DTLA / Chinatown
  • Palms
  • Sylmar / Kagel Canyon

Thank you so much to all who voted to make LA the best place to live, learn, play, create, and connect. We couldn't do this without you!
