📍Sustain LA launched the first zero-waste refill station in Los Angeles and is a center for zero-waste living and events in LA. At its Highland Park Refill Station, one can find everyday necessities such as soap, shampoos, and cleansers in bulk- perfect for bringing your own containers for a refill.

📍R[eco]ntained is a female-operated zero-waste store best known for its beauty products and organic olive oil. Through its Santa Monica brick-and-mortar store and e-commerce, R[eco]ntained encourages customers to ditch single-use plastic.

📍Re_Grocery in Studio City carries over 500 refillable bulk goods, including grocery items like nuts and spices, and house and beauty products. Since opening on Earth Day 2020, Re_Grocery claims to have diverted over 250,000 items of packaging from landfill.

📍Bring Your Own Long Beach opened in 2017 and offers bulk refills on a variety of items ranging from tea to toothpaste tablets. BYO aims to inspire locals to reduce their trash consumption and focus on reusable alternatives. BYO offers many day-to-day items for the home and body, available in refills and sustainable alternatives.

📍Co-Opportunity Market in Culver City claims to be LA County’s only organic food cooperative. It is open to the public and features an extensive bulk section and a 100% certified organic produce department.

📍Prostainable is a female-owned and operated low-waste store for your zero-waste intentions. Located in Woodland Hills, Prostainable offers 70 earth-friendly, refillable products for your home and body from face serums to dish soap.

📍Wild Terra is a community apothecary located in Highland Park. Here, you can find a large selection of bulk organic, biodynamic and wildcrafted medicinal herbs, teas, spices, and handcrafted and fair-trade gifts.

📍The Well Refill, located in Topanga Canyon, offers more than 100 refillable products- ranging from furniture polish to everyday lotion. In addition, it sells low-waste products and a selection of second-hand goods.

📍My Zero Waste Store, located in Pasadena, is a refill, reuse, and unpackaged store offering sustainable products and one-of-a-kind items. Based on sales up to June 30, 2022, it claims to have aided in a “total plastic elimination of 5,071,672” thus far.
