Roles & responsibilities
As a Traditional Talk Therapist, you will provide one-on-one counseling sessions to clients, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Your role involves building strong therapeutic relationships, fostering trust, and guiding clients toward personal growth and coping strategies. You will maintain accurate records and tailor treatment plans to meet individual needs. Additionally, you will integrate virtual reality technology into therapeutic practices, facilitating immersive experiences to help clients manage anxiety, stress, and other mental health challenges. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing VR sessions, monitoring client progress, and providing feedback to enhance treatment outcomes. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to mental wellness.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work
Active CA licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Experience in providing therapy, assessments, and crisis intervention
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of ethical standards and legal regulations in the field
Compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach
