Create Now

Create Now’s “New Era” campaign will support the expansion of free, high-impact arts programming for underserved youth across Los Angeles. This grant will help fund in-school, after-school, and community-based workshops in music, visual arts, writing, and more—offering healing, creative expression, and career exploration. As Create Now relocates from its current DTLA site, this initiative ensures continued access to the arts in the communities that need it most.

Create Now's "STEAM Visions: Artistic Journeys through Science" is an innovative art competition for middle and high school students in Los Angeles County, integrating STEM concepts with the arts. This initiative aims to enhance K-12 STEAM education, promote interdisciplinary learning, and prepare students for future careers in the tech and creative industries. By fostering creativity, critical thinking, and community engagement, the project aligns with LA2050’s goals of building a thriving, inclusive, and equitable Los Angeles

Our programs introduce students to the power of the arts as well as learn valuable skills that lead to jobs and careers across multiple industries. This funding will help ensure that we continue to obtain the resources necessary to provide quality programming to our participants.
