Interfaith Food Center

Our Grocery Program provides weekly access to fresh, nutritious food for over 3,100 low-income residents in La Mirada, Santa Fe Springs, and Whittier. By reducing food insecurity, we help families stay housed, healthy, and stable—bridging the gap created by rising costs and shrinking federal support. This program is a vital step toward income equity and a more resilient, nourished community.

Grant funding will enable Interfaith Food Center (IFC) to provide essential groceries and nutritional information to food-insecure individuals through our drive-through distribution model. This support ensures that we can efficiently meet the needs of our community while promoting healthy eating habits. While drive-through distribution may not be new, IFC will be incorporating member-choice, with nutritional information, to encourage our constituents to make informed decisions about their health and well being for a healthier community.

Four Seasons of Food is designed to utilize the food provided in weekly supplemental distributions in the healthiest, most economical way.
